Rotaract Club of Jeppiaar Engineering College is affiliated to the Rotary Club of Madras. The club’s aim is to improve and change for the better, the attitude and behaviour of the society we live in. The club has a 10 member Board to handle the various projects. However, the major decisions are taken by the core board which consists of the President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Sergeant- at-arms and the Treasurer.
The main avenues of service are
- Community service – They are responsible for the welfare of the environment, serving the community, etc.
- Professional Service – They provide an overall development in the education sector and help to build a successful career for fellow human beings.
- International Service – Any project outside the district, nationally or internationally, comes under international service.
- Club Service – Believing that any work should have a fun side to it, fellowships are conducted every month.
