The Examination Cell plays a vital role in the functioning of the institution. Adequate supporting staff from each department are assigned to manage its routine activities efficiently. The Controller of Examinations ensures the smooth administration of continuous assessment tests as well as all internal and external examinations.
The Examination Cell is responsible for maintaining student performance records, facilitating communication between the Office of the Controller of Examinations and the college, issuing examination applications to students, and submitting completed applications to the Controller’s Office. It also coordinates with the Zonal Office for the effective conduct of practical and theory examinations, ensures the secure storage of examination stationery, and processes student requests related to lost mark statements, certificates, and other examination-related queries.
To support its operations, the Examination Cell is equipped with updated computer systems, communication networks, high-speed printers, and photocopying facilities, enabling efficient functioning. The Cell operates under the direct supervision of the Principal, who serves as the Chief Superintendent. The Chief Superintendent is supported by the Examination Coordinator(s) and clerical staff for the effective management of examination activities.
