The M.Tech.Biotechnology is a full time 2 year programme affiliated by Anna University and accredited by AICTE. This course caters to the need of the students with multiple electives, lab courses and project works. The masters program provides opportunity to the students to do compulsory research projects in the area of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, bioprocess and downstream processing, enzyme technology, plant biotechnology and bioinformatics and explore the nuances in research. The masters students are motivated and encouraged to publish their research findings in scopus indexed journals listed by Anna university and to file patents.
